Workspaces

Workspaces are a great way to organize and license items for your creative projects with Envato. This new feature is currently being developed and improved. If you have any feedback about it, feel free to share your thoughts here.

• How do I create a new Workspace?

  1. Open the Workspace toolbar and click the '+' button.
     
  2. Enter a name for the new Workspace and click 'create'. The Workspace name will now appear in the toolbar.
     

• How do I add assets to a Workspace?

  1. Open the Workspace list on the Workspace toolbar and select the Workspace you want to add items to.
     
     
     
     
  2. Click the bookmark icon or 'Add to Workspace' button'. This will save the item into the selected Workspace

  1. Click the 'Download' Button.
  2. Create a new Workspace or select an existing Workspace.
  3. Click 'License & Download'

  

  Adding an item to a Workspace when downloading will generate a license. To obtain the license certificate, you can visit 'My Downloads'. Remember, if you want to use the item for a new or different end product, you will need to license the item to a different Workspace. 

• How do I view assets in a Workspace?

  Select the Workspace you want to open and click the 'Open Workspace' button. This will open the selected Workspace.
  
  
  

• How do I download assets from within a Workspace?

  1. Open the Workspace you want to download items from by clicking on 'Open Workspace' button in the toolbar.
     
     
     
     
  2. Hover over the item you want to download and click the 'Download' icon. The item will begin to download and a license will be created to use the item in the end-product represented by your Workspace.
     
     

  Items downloaded from a Workspace are auto-licensed. Remember, if you want to use the item for a new or different end-product, you need to license the item to a different Workspace. 

• How do I manage and share a Workspace?

  Workspaces is a new feature undergoing development, At present, you can organise or license items to a Workspace. You can also download items from a Workspace and find other similar items. 

  Features to manage Worspaces and items in them are not yet available. We are keen to hear your feedback, feedback can be submited here to provide input on future improvements. 

• How do I manage licenses for downloaded items?

  If you are searching for a previously downloaded item or wish to browse your download history, all of that information can be found on the My Downloads page.

• How do I create a license for a new or different end-product?

  To use an item for a new or different end-product, you will need to license the item to a different Workspace.

  1. Visit 'My Downloads' and locate the item you wish to re-license.
  2. Click 'View licenses'
     
  3. Click 'Create new license'
     
  4. Enter the Workspace name and click 'Create license'.

• How do I download license certificates?

  1. Visit My Downloads and locate the item that you want to download a license for.
  2. Click on 'View Licenses'
  3. Click 'Download License'
