General

• Where do I find Envato's AI tools?

  All of Envato's AI Tools live in one place. Log in to your account and head to Generate from the Envato menu. Log in to your account and head to Generate from the Envato menu, and you can create images, video, music, sound effects and voice from a single interface — no need to move between separate tools. Your work is grouped by session rather than by tool, so everything you made in one sitting sits together in a single timeline. Editing opens in a view above whatever you're working on, so you don't lose your place. 

  The Flow view shows the sources and generations behind a session, making it easy to pick up where you left off or take a different direction. You can also drop assets straight from an active Workspace into a generation to use as references, and Shortcuts are available from the landing page.

• Are there generation or download limits for the AI tools?

  AI credits vary by plan.

  • Core Plan: Individual, Team and Student plan customers on the Core plan will receive 20 AI generations a month.
  • Plus Plan: Individual and Team plan customers on the Plus plan will receive 200 AI generations a month.
  • Ultimate Plan: Individual and Team plan customers on the Ultimate plan will receive 500, 1000 or 2000 AI credits a month, depending on your selection. AI generations are subject to our Fair Use Policy.
  • For Enterprise customers, access to AI and applicable generation limits will depend on your specific account plan and terms. Reach out to your Account Manager for more information. AI generations are subject to our Fair Use Policy.

  Some AI actions, like creating an image, will use fewer credits, while the more complex tools, like scaling up a video, will use more credits. You can read more here: How are AI generations counted?.

  As our creative assets and AI tools are subject to the our User Terms, and Fair Use Policy, please remember:

  • The subscription is for an individual (or a specific number of people with our Team or Enterprise accounts).
  • You cannot use scripts or bots to mass download assets or mass generate content, or engage in activities that suggests inappropriate, excessive, or unusual use patterns (including sharing of accounts, or engaging in excessively high downloads in a short period of time).

• Are the AI tools available on Enterprise plans?

  Yes. All our generative AI tools are available as add ons for Enterprise customers. Existing Enterprise customers can reach out to their Account Manager for more information. For new Enterprise enquiries, visit the Enterprise page.

• How much do the AI tools cost?

  Access to Envato’s AI tools are currently included as part of all Envato plans (note that for Enterprise customers, access to AI and applicable generation limits will depend on your specific account plan and terms).  The number of AI generations varies by plan.

  Higher plans give you greater access to supercharge your creative toolkit with Gen AI. Our Ultimate plan is tailor-made for creative professionals looking to ideate and create to their heart’s content with unlimited generations and stock customisation across our full AI stack (subject to our Fair Use Policy).

AI Image generator

• Can I use the images I generate in commercial projects?

  Yes, you can use any AI generated images in personal, client, or commercial projects, as long as they’re part of an end product. Our licensing is simple and built for real-world creative use. See our licensing terms.

• How do I access AI Image generator?

  All of Envato's AI Tools live in one place. Log in to your account and head to Generate from the Envato menu.

• How should I start using the AI image generator?

  Start with simple prompts. Initially, use basic terms like “sunset,” “forest,” or “cat.” This approach helps you understand the range of styles and capabilities of the tool. Once familiar, you can start experimenting with more complex ideas, such as describing the subject in more detail e.g. describe the scene, time of day, elements you want included or expressions.

  You can also try “enhance prompt” which will add more details to your prompt to deliver better results without you needing to manually provide extra descriptions to your prompt.

• What types of styles can I expect from AI Image generator?

  Our AI is capable of creating a wide range of artistic styles, from realistic portrayals to abstract interpretations. As you experiment with different prompts, you’ll discover various artistic renditions the AI can produce. E.g. you’ll witness illustrative, photo realistic, neon, explosive, poster, oil painting and more appear depending on your search. Once you find a style you like you can change the subject to create your vision.

• How can I get the specific image I have in mind?

  Once you know what you’re looking for, refine your prompt by adding more detail. Describe the scene, mood, objects, and any specific elements you wish to include. The more detailed your description, the closer the result will be to your vision. For example, instead of just “cat,” try “a fluffy white cat under a blooming cherry tree at sunrise.”

• Are there any limitations to the kinds of images I can generate?

  While our AI is pretty versatile, it’s still in beta, so you might run into the occasional hiccup with complex or abstract prompts. You can’t use it to generate inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content. All generations must comply with our Product Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. We’re constantly improving the tech, so expect things to get better with time!

• How can I improve the quality of the images I generate?

  Practice and experimentation are key. Try varying your prompts, observe the outcomes, and adjust accordingly. Detailed and creative descriptions often yield the most striking images.

• Are images created with AI Image generator pre-made or generated in real time?

  Images created with AI Image generator are generated in real time based on user text prompts. This is separate from Envato Elements’ pre-made image library, which includes stock photos, illustrations, and graphics available for download.

• What should I do if the image isn't what I expected?

  AI image generation can sometimes be unpredictable. If the result isn’t what you expected, try adjusting your prompt for clarity or adding/removing specific details. It’s often a process of trial and error to achieve the perfect result.

• When should I vote thumbs up or thumbs down on an image?

  Vote Thumbs Up when you think AI Image generator creates the image or style you were after.

  Vote Thumbs Down when AI Image generator provides something inappropriate, off topic or poor quality.

AI Image editor

• Can I use the images I edit in commercial projects?

  Edited images do not generate a standalone license directly from Image Editor. However, your subscription grants you a legal license to use the underlying AI-generated components that make up your finalized file.

  Just like using any traditional editing software, it is your responsibility to ensure your source file (whether it comes from AI Image generator, Envato Elements, or your personal machine) is properly licensed before deploying it inside a commercial workflow.

• How do I access AI Image editor?

  You can access it by:

  • Clicking Edit from a photo item page in Envato’s Photo library or an AI Image image
  • Head to Generate from the Envato menu

• Can I edit a photo straight from its item page?

  Yes. Open any photo item details page and you'll see AI actions alongside the item — remove background, expand and relight — plus a prompt box where you can describe the change you want. Each edit can be applied to your previous edit, so you can keep refining in place rather than starting over or switching to another tool. As with any edit that starts from an Envato stock catalog image, the original photo is automatically licensed to your account when you begin, and is saved to My Downloads.

• What is AI Image editor?

  AI Image editor is an AI tool for Envato subscribers that lets you make fast, simple edits to images without needing extra software.

• What kind of edits can I make with AI Image editor?

  AI Image Editor gives you a simple set of smart tools to refine your images, fast:

  • Background removal – Instantly remove backgrounds for a clean, pro finish
  • Remove object – Erase unwanted details or distractions
  • Replace object – Swap out parts of your image with AI-generated content
  • Upscale – Boost resolution for crisp, high-quality results
  • Generate similar – Explore new looks with fresh takes on your image
  • Crop – Resize or frame your image just right

• Is AI Image editor a replacement for professional image editing software?

  AI Image editor is built for quick, everyday edits that save you time. For more complex work, your usual editing software will still be useful.

• Where will my edited images be saved?

  Edited images are not automatically saved. You’ll need to download the image to your device to keep a copy of it. If you are editing an image from Envato Elements, the original Envato library image will be licensed and saved to your My Downloads under the project “Image Editor Originals.”

• Do I need to license an Envato Elements image before editing it in AI Image editor?

  Yes, but you don’t need to do it manually. When you click “Edit” on an Envato library image, it’s automatically licensed on Elements and added to your My Downloads and saved in your Projects under the project “Image Editor Originals.” Your use of the Envato image, and any edited version you create on Image Editor, remains subject to the terms of the Elements License.

• Can I use Image Editor on any image?

  Yes, AI Image editor works with Envato Elements photos, images generated with AI Image generator, plus your own uploaded images.

AI Voice generator

• Can I use the voices I generate in commercial projects?

  Yes, you can use AI generated voices in personal, client, or commercial projects as part of an end product. Our licensing terms are designed to make things simple and straightforward.

• How do I access AI Voice generator?

  All of Envato's AI Tools live in one place. Log in to your account and head to Generate from the Envato menu.

• How do I use AI Voice generator?

  Head to AI Voice generator, simply select a voice, type or paste your script, and download the MP3 file:

  • Log in: Access AI Voice generator by logging into your Envato account
  • Explore the voices: Browse through the available characters like Lydia, Carla or Logan each representing a distinct style.
  • Type or paste your script: Enter the text you would like to be converted into voice in the text box.
  • Customize your voiceover: Adjust the pace of the voice over to match your vision.

• What languages does AI Voice generator support natively?

  AI Voice generator supports over 30 languages natively so users can simply start typing in their language and the model will detect language. Languages supported are:

  English (USA, UK, Australia, Canada), Japanese, Chinese, German, Hindi, French (France, Canada), Korean, Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal), Italian, Spanish (Spain, Mexico), Indonesian, Dutch, Turkish, Filipino, Polish, Swedish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Arabic (Saudi Arabia, UAE), Czech, Greek, Finnish, Croatian, Malay, Slovak, Danish, Tamil, and Ukrainian.

• Can I customize the voice parameters (speed, emotion, etc.)?

  You can currently filter voices, control the pace of the voice and generate voices in over 30 languages. Plus, more advanced customization features are coming. Keep a look out for future updates.

• Can I use my own voice or upload custom voices?

  The ability to use custom voices is not currently supported but may be considered in the future.

• How many unique voices are available in AI Voice generator?

  AI Voice generator currently has over 25 expressive voices to choose from, tailored for a variety of video projects.

• Can I use AI Voice generator on my mobile device?

  AI Voice generator is currently optimized for desktop use. Mobile optimization is planned for the future.

• Can AI Voice Generator be used for long-form podcasts and audiobooks?

  Yes, you can use AI Voice generator to create narration for podcasts, audiobooks, or similar audio-first projects. Here’s what to keep in mind:

  • Your script should be your own original work or content you have the rights to narrate and publish.
  • We recommend adding other audio elements like music or sound effects.
  • When combined with your script and any extra elements, the AI voiceover becomes part of a larger end product, not the primary component itself.

  If you follow these simple guidelines, you’re free to produce podcast episodes, audiobook chapters, or other narrated works with AI Voice Generator, as long as you hold the necessary rights to the content.

AI Video Generator

• Can I use the videos I generate in commercial projects?

• How do I access AI Video generator?

• What is the technical quality and length of generated videos?

  Right now, videos download at 720p and run up to 8 seconds. We’re working on adding more custom controls soon.

• I had an error and lost a generation — can I get it back?

  Yes, if an error occurs, your generation should be automatically restored within 2 hours. If not, feel free to reach out to support.

• What is Google Veo 3?

  Google Veo 3 is the latest AI-powered video generation model developed by Google DeepMind. It transforms text prompts into high-quality, cinematic videos with synchronized audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and background music. This advancement offers creators an all-in-one tool for producing realistic video content.

• How does Veo 3 differ from Veo 2?

  Veo 3 introduces several enhancements over Veo 2:

  You still have the same 30 generations per month.

  Our sophisticated system selects which model to use based on the task at hand which is the same across all our AI tools.

  If you would like to add synced audio, click +, and toggle on Audio.

• Can I edit or modify my generated videos?

  Yes. AI Video generator includes a Modify feature that lets you edit your generated videos using AI. Modify enables closer prompt adherence, more precise editing actions, and better consistency in your results.

• Can I use images or videos as references when generating?

  Yes! You can upload up to 5 images and 1 video as reference inputs alongside your text prompt. This helps the AI model produce more consistent, on-brief results by showing it what you mean — not just telling it. Simply click the reference upload area in the VideoGen interface to add your files before generating.

AI Music generator

• Can I use the music I generate in commercial projects?

  Yes, you can use AI generated music in personal, client, or commercial projects as part of an end product. Just note it can’t be released as a standalone music track. For more details on using AI-generated music check out our licensing terms.

• How do I access AI Music generator?

  All of Envato's AI Tools live in one place. Log in to your account and head to Generate from the Envato menu.

• How do I create music with AI Music generator?

  You can generate music using:

  • Text prompts: Describe the music you want. Some prompt Tips:
    • Include details like genre (e.g. “jazz,” “classical”), mood (e.g., “upbeat,” “melancholy”), instruments (e.g., “piano,” “guitar”), tempo (e.g. “fast,” “slow”), and any other specific characteristics you have in mind.
    • Example prompt: “A slow, relaxing acoustic guitar piece with a touch of nature sounds, like birds chirping and a gentle stream.”
    • Remember, AI Music generator creates acoustic music only; it does not generate vocals.
  • Mood/Theme selection: Choose from available presets like mood, genre, energy tempo and theme.
  • Extending tracks: Simply click the “Extend” button located next to the track in your library or after generation. This allows you to continue building upon a piece you like by 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds.
  • Referencing an Envato Elements track: Click “edit with AI” on selected Envato tracks to remix the selected track. Your use of an Envato Elements track will remain subject to the terms of the Elements License, so the same rules will apply for how you can use and modify an Elements Track when you use the AI Music generator tool.

• Can I use my own audio files with AI Music generator?

  No, you cannot upload your own audio. You can, however, reference previously generated AI Music generator tracks or selected Envato Elements Library tracks.

• What file format are AI Music generator downloads?

  AI Music generator currently provides downloads in .mp3 format.

AI Graphics generator

• Can I use the graphics I generate in commercial projects?

  Yes, you can use any AI generated images in personal, client, or commercial projects, as long as they’re part of an end product. Our licensing is simple and built for real-world creative use. See our licensing terms.

• How do I access AI Graphics generator?

  All of Envato's AI Tools live in one place. Log in to your account and head to Generate from the Envato menu.

• How should I start using AI Graphics generator?

  Browse 100+ graphic styles on the AI Graphics generator home screen and choose your favourite. Enter a prompt, hit Generate, and watch it come to life. To preview a style, hover over it and move your cursor left or right, or click the gallery icon in the bottom-left corner to see more examples.

• Can I change aspect ratios or asset transparency?

  Yes! The AI Graphics generator prompt window features aspect ratio selection as well as a toggle for transparency modes so you can force graphics to be generated as transparent PNGs.

• Is it possible to generate vector graphics?

  Yes, many of our styles feature an export to SVG feature which you can access from the new graphic you have generated or from the AI Graphics generator history page. Hover over the download button and you’ll see the option to either download PNG or download as SVG for the graphics that have applicable styles.

• Are there any limitations to the kinds of graphics I can generate?
