General

1. Are there generation or download limits for the AI tools? 
For Individual, Team and Student plan customers, until 25 February 2026, no limits apply to AI generations (except videos with speech, which remains subject to limits). After this time, Individual, Team and Student plan customers will receive 10 AI generations a month. For Enterprise customers on applicable plans that have access to AI, no limits apply to AI generations. AI generations are subject to our Fair Use Policy.

2. Are the AI tools available on Enterprise plans?
Yes. Our generative AI tools (excluding MusicGen) are available on the Ultimate Tier for Enterprise customers. Existing Enterprise customers can reach out to their Account Manager for more information. For new enterprise enquiries, visit the Enterprise page.

3. How much do the AI tools cost?
Envato’s stack of AI tools are currently included as part of your Envato Individual, Team or Student subscription at no extra charge.

ImageGen 

1. Can I use the Images I generate in commercial projects?
yes, you can use any AI generated images in personal, client, or commercial projects, as long as they’re part of an end product. Our licensing is simple and built for real-world creative use. See our licensing terms.

2. How do I access ImageGen?
ImageGen is available to Envato subscribers on Individual, Student, and Team plans. It’s also available for Enterprise customers on the Ultimate Tier. To access it, just log in to your paid account and go to:

• labs.envato.com/image-gen
• Or head to Gen AI > ImageGen from the Envato Elements menu

3. How should I start using the AI image generator?
Start with simple prompts. Initially, use basic terms like "sunset," "forest," or "cat." This approach helps you understand the range of styles and capabilities of the tool. Once familiar, you can start experimenting with more complex ideas, such as describing the subject in more detail e.g. describe the scene, time of day, elements you want included or expressions.

You can also try “enhance prompt” which will add more details to your prompt to deliver better results without you needing to manually provide extra descriptions to your prompt.

4. What types of styles can I expect from ImageGen?
Our AI is capable of creating a wide range of artistic styles, from realistic portrayals to abstract interpretations. As you experiment with different prompts, you'll discover various artistic renditions the AI can produce. E.g. you’ll witness illustrative, photo realistic, neon, explosive, poster, oil painting and more appear depending on your search. Once you find a style you like you can change the subject to create your vision.

5. How can I get the specific image I have in mind?
Once you know what you're looking for, refine your prompt by adding more detail. Describe the scene, mood, objects, and any specific elements you wish to include. The more detailed your description, the closer the result will be to your vision. For example, instead of just "cat," try "a fluffy white cat under a blooming cherry tree at sunrise."

6. Are there any limitations to the kinds of images I can generate?
While our AI is pretty versatile, it’s still in beta, so you might run into the occasional hiccup with complex or abstract prompts. You can't use it to generate inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content. All generations must comply with our Product Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. We’re constantly improving the tech, so expect things to get better with time!

7. How can I improve the quality of the images I generate?
Practice and experimentation are key. Try varying your prompts, observe the outcomes, and adjust accordingly. Detailed and creative descriptions often yield the most striking images.

8. Are images created with ImageGen pre-made or generated in real time?
Images created with ImageGen are generated in real time based on user text prompts. This is separate from Envato Elements’ pre-made image library, which includes stock photos, illustrations, and graphics available for download.

9. What should I do if the image isn't what I expected?
AI image generation can sometimes be unpredictable. If the result isn't what you expected, try adjusting your prompt for clarity or adding/removing specific details. It's often a process of trial and error to achieve the perfect result.

10. When should I vote thumbs up or thumbs down on an image?
Vote Thumbs Up when you think ImageGen creates the image or style you were after.
Vote Thumbs Down when ImageGen provides something inappropriate, off topic or poor quality. 

ImageEdit 

1. Can I use the images I edit in commercial projects?
Edited images do not come with their own license from ImageEdit. However, you are granted a license to use the AI generated components that make up the edited version of the original image. E.g. whether it’s from ImageGen, Envato Elements or your own image. Just like using any editing tool, it’s up to you to make sure the source image is properly licensed before using it in a commercial project..

2. How do I access ImageEdit? 
ImageEdit is available to Envato subscribers on Individual, Student, and Team plans. It’s also available for Enterprise customers on the Ultimate Tier. You can access it by:

• Clicking Edit from a photo item page in Envato’s Photo library or an ImageGen image

• Visiting labs.envato.com/image-edit

• Navigating to Gen AI > ImageEdit in the Envato Elements menu

3. What kind of edits can I make with ImageEdit?

ImageEdit gives you a simple set of smart tools to refine your images, fast:

• Background removal – Instantly remove backgrounds for a clean, pro finish
• Remove object – Erase unwanted details or distractions
• Replace object – Swap out parts of your image with AI-generated content
• Upscale – Boost resolution for crisp, high-quality results
• Generate similar – Explore new looks with fresh takes on your image
• Crop – Resize or frame your image just right

4. What is ImageEdit?
ImageEdit is an AI tool for Envato subscribers that lets you make fast, simple edits to images without needing extra software.

5. Is ImageEdit a replacement for professional image editing software?
ImageEdit is built for quick, everyday edits that save you time. For more complex work, your usual editing software will still be useful.

6. Where will my edited images be saved?
Edited images are not automatically saved. You'll need to download the image to your device to keep a copy of it. If you are editing an image from Envato Elements, the original Envato library image will be licensed and saved to your “My Downloads” under the project “ImageEdit Originals.”

7. Do I need to license an Envato Elements image before editing it in ImageEdit?
Yes, but you don’t need to do it manually. When you click “Edit” on an Envato library image, it’s automatically licensed on Elements and added to your “My Downloads” and saved in your Projects under the project “ImageEdit Originals.” Your use of the Envato image, and any edited version you create on ImageEdit, remains subject to the terms of the Elements License.

8. Can I use ImageEdit on any image?
Yes, ImageEdit works with Envato Elements photos, images generated with ImageGen, plus your own uploaded images. 

VoiceGen

1. Can I use the voices I generate in commercial projects?
Yes, you can use AI generated voices in personal, client, or commercial projects as part of an end product. Our licensing terms are designed to make things simple and straightforward.

2. How do I access VoiceGen? 
VoiceGen is available to Envato subscribers on Individual, Student, and Team plans. It’s also available for Enterprise customers on the Ultimate Tier. To access it:

• Or find it in the Envato Elements menu under Gen AI > VoiceGen

3. How do I use VoiceGen?

Head to VoiceGen, simply select a voice, type or paste your script, and download the MP3 file:

• Log In: Access VoiceGen by logging into your Envato account at labs.envato.com/voice-gen/
• Explore the voices: Browse through the available characters like Lydia, Carla or Logan each representing a distinct style.
• Type or paste your script: Enter the text you would like to be converted into voice in the text box.
• Customize Your Voiceover: Adjust the pace of the voice over to match your vision.

4. What languages are available?
VoiceGen supports over 30 languages natively so users can simply start typing in their language and the model will detect language. Languages supported are:

English (USA), English (UK), English (Australia), English (Canada), Japanese, Chinese, German, Hindi, French (France), French (Canada), Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Italian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), Indonesian, Dutch, Turkish, Filipino, Polish, Swedish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Arabic (Saudi Arabia), Arabic (UAE), Czech, Greek, Finnish, Croatian, Malay, Slovak, Danish, Tamil, Ukrainian.

5. Can I customize the voice (speed, emotion, etc.)?
You can currently filter voices, control the pace of the voice and generate voices in over 30 languages. Plus, more advanced customization features are coming. Keep a look out for future updates.

6. Can I use my own voice or upload custom voices?
The ability to use custom voices is not currently supported but may be considered in the future.

7. How many voices are available?
VoiceGen currently has over 25 expressive voices to choose from, tailored for a variety of video projects.

8. Can I use VoiceGen on my mobile device?
VoiceGen is currently optimized for desktop use. Mobile optimization is planned for the future.

9. Can VoiceGen be used for Podcasts and Audiobooks?

Yes, you can use VoiceGen to create narration for podcasts, audiobooks, or similar audi-first projects. Here's what to keep in mind:

• Your script should be your own original work or content you have the rights to narrate and publish.

• We recommend adding other audio elements like music or sound effects.

• When combined with your script and any extra elements, the AI voiceover becomes part of a larger end product, not the primary component itself.

If you follow these simple guidelines, you're free to produce podcast episodes, audiobook chapters, or other narrated works with VoiceGen, as long as you hold the necessary rights to the content.

VideoGen 

1. Can I use the videos I generate in commercial projects?
Yes, you can use your AI-generated videos in personal, client, or commercial projects as part of an end product. Our licensing is built to support real creative work. See our licensing terms.

2. How do I access VideoGen? 
VideoGen is available to subscribers on Individual, Student, and Team plans. It’s also available for Enterprise customers on the Ultimate Tier. To access it, simply:

• Go to labs.envato.com/video-gen
• Find it in the Envato Elements menu under Gen AI > VideoGen
• Or via ImageEdit, you can click “Generate video” on an Envato Library image, an image you’ve created via ImageGen, or you can upload your own.

4. What is the quality and length of videos generated?
Right now, videos download at 720p and run up to 8 seconds. We’re working on adding more custom controls soon.

5. I had an error and lost a generation, can I get it back? 
Yes, if an error occurs, your generation should be automatically restored within 2 hours. If not, feel free to reach out to support.

6. What is Google Veo 3?
Google Veo 3 is the latest AI-powered video generation model developed by Google DeepMind. It transforms text prompts into high-quality, cinematic videos with synchronized audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and background music. This advancement offers creators an all-in-one tool for producing realistic video content.

7. How does Veo 3 differ from Veo 2?
Veo 3 introduces several enhancements over Veo 2:

• Audio Generation: Unlike Veo 2, Veo 3 can generate synchronized audio tracks, including dialogue and ambient sounds.
• Improved Visual Quality: Veo 3 produces videos with higher resolution and more realistic visuals.
• Enhanced Prompt Understanding: Veo 3 better interprets complex prompts, allowing for more detailed and accurate video generation.

8. What are the key features of Veo 3?
Key features of Veo 3 include:

• Synchronized Audio Generation: Creates dialogue, sound effects, and background music that align with the video content.
• Advanced Prompt Interpretation: Accurately follows complex instructions to create diverse shot styles and movements.

9. How can I access Google Veo 3 on VideoGen?
You can access Veo 3 directly within Envato VideoGen. Write your prompt and enjoy stunning AI-generated video results. You still have the same 30 generations per month. Our sophisticated system selects which model to use based on the task at hand which is the same across all our AI tools. If you would like to add synced audio, click +, and toggle on Audio.

MusicGen 

1. Can I use the music I generate in commercial projects?
Yes, you can use AI generated music in personal, client, or commercial projects as part of an end product. Just note it can’t be released as a standalone music track. For more details on using AI-generated music check out our licensing terms

2. How do I access the MusicGen? 
MusicGen is available to subscribers on Individual, Student, and Team plans. It’s not offered for Enterprise customers. You can access it by:

• Visiting labs.envato.com/music-gen
• Navigating to Gen AI > MusicGen on Envato Elements
• Clicking “Edit with AI” on select tracks in the Envato Elements music library.

3. How do I create music with MusicGen?

You can generate music using:

• Text prompts: Describe the music you want. Tips:

  Include details like genre (e.g. "jazz," "classical"), mood (e.g., "upbeat," "melancholy"), instruments (e.g., "piano," "guitar"), tempo (e.g. "fast," "slow"), and any other specific characteristics you have in mind.

• Example prompt: "A slow, relaxing acoustic guitar piece with a touch of nature sounds, like birds chirping and a gentle stream."

  Remember, MusicGen creates acoustic music only; it does not generate vocals.

• Mood/Theme selection: Choose from available presets like mood, genre, energy tempo and theme.
• Extending tracks: Simply click the "Extend" button located next to the track in your library or after generation. This allows you to continue building upon a piece you like by 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds.
• Referencing an Envato Elements track: Click "edit with AI" on selected Envato tracks to remix the selected track. Your use of an Envato Elements track will remain subject to the terms of the Elements License, so the same rules will apply for how you can use and modify an Elements Track when you use the MusicGen tool.

4. Can I use my own audio files?

No, you cannot upload your own audio. You can, however, reference previously generated MusicGen tracks or selected Envato Elements Library tracks.   

5. What file format are the downloads?

MusicGen currently provides downloads in .mp3 format.

GraphicsGen

1. Can I use the graphics I generate in commercial projects?

2. How do I access the GraphicsGen?
GraphicsGen is available to Envato subscribers on Individual, Student, and Team plans. It’s also available for Enterprise customers on the Ultimate Tier. To access it, just log in to your paid account and go to:

• Or head to Gen AI > GraphicsGen from the Envato Elements menu.

3. How should I start using GraphicsGen?
Browse 100+ graphic styles on the GraphicsGen home screen and choose your favourite. Enter a prompt, hit Generate, and watch it come to life. To preview a style, hover over it and move your cursor left or right, or click the gallery icon in the bottom-left corner to see more examples.

4. Can I change aspect ratios or transparency?
Yes! The GraphicsGen prompt window features aspect ratio selection as well as a toggle for transparency modes so you can force graphics to be generated as transparent PNGs.

5. Is it possible to generate vector graphics?
Yes, many of our styles feature an export to SVG feature which you can access from the new graphic you have generated or from the GraphicsGen history page. Hover over the download button and you'll see the option to either download PNG or download as SVG for the graphics that have applicable styles.
