If you decide to cancel your subscription and request a refund, we will assess refund or credit requests on their merits. If you would like to request a refund you should open a help request.
How do refunds work?
Given the nature of digital content, we do not generally offer a refund unless required by applicable laws or as otherwise described in our Envato Elements User Terms.
There is generally no obligation to provide a refund or credit in situations like the following:
- you have changed your mind about your subscription;
- you subscribed by mistake;
- you are not satisfied with the current offering (could not find desired content)
- you do not have sufficient expertise to use the Items made available;
- you ask for goodwill; or
- you can no longer access any of your desired items because they have been removed from Envato Elements (we advise you to download items as soon as you license them to avoid this situation).
If you are only after cancelling your Envato Elements subscription, you can go ahead, cancel it and use Envato Elements until the account expires automatically at the end of the billing period. You can find more information on cancelling your subscription in this article.
If I’m eligible for a refund, how will I receive it?
If we decide to issue a refund, this will generally be done using the same manner used to make the purchase. Any payment made to you will be made in the currency Envato offered to you when you purchased your subscription (either Euros or US Dollars), under the rules of the payment method.**
**Currency conversion costs: You are responsible for all costs of currency conversion relating to your Envato Elements subscription. Your financial institution does the currency conversion and may charge you additional fees including international charges (we don’t control either the conversion rates or your financial institution’s fees).**
Can I receive a partial refund for the annual plan?
We are unable to offer a refund (partial or otherwise) if you have used your subscription already and downloaded items. Your plan will remain valid until the end of your annual plan and will renew unless you cancel it.
If you are unsure that you need an annual plan, you may wish to subscribe to a monthly plan instead.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method (for Visa/MasterCard/Apple Pay it may take 5-10 business days before it is processed and for Paypal 24-48 hours).
Will lodging a dispute with my payment provider speed up my refund request?
As a security measure, if you lodge a dispute with your payment provider, your Envato Elements account will be automatically disabled and you will not have access to any item downloads until it's resolved. We’d like the opportunity to look into your request to avoid this scenario so please get in touch with us first.
I’m an existing customer, am I eligible for a sale price?
No, unfortunately, sale prices are for new customers only.
