Updates to Gen AI Access in Your Envato Subscription

From 25th February 2026, the way Gen AI tools are included in your Envato subscription will change. Unlimited AI access will end for current plans (except eligible Enterprise Plans), and you will now receive 10 AI generations per user each month. Everything else remains the same. Your subscription and price won't change, and you'll still get access to unlimited downloads of 26+ million creative assets and templates.

Here's a quick overview:

• 25th February 2026: Unlimited AI access ends for current plans (except eligible Enterprise Plans).
• New Monthly Limit: Existing plans will now include 10 AI generations per user per month.
• Subscription Options: New subscription plans with extended Gen AI access will be available on 25th February 2026. We’ll share more details on the pricing page when we release those new plans.
• What stays the same: Other than changes to AI, everything else remains the same. Your subscription and price won't change, and you'll still get access to unlimited downloads of 26+ million creative assets and templates across a broad range of categories (video, music, photos, fonts, graphics, and more) with lifetime commercial licenses. 

What is changing with Gen AI access?

We are updating our plans to continue improving our AI tools while offering more flexible options. Starting 25th February 2026, unlimited access to Gen AI tools will no longer be part of existing subscription plans. Instead, all current plans will be updated to include a limit of 10 Gen AI generations per user every month. It is important to note that everything else remains the same and your access to the Envato creative stock library will not change.

• When will these changes take effect?

  These updates begin on 25th February 2026. Your billing date and renewal cycle will stay the same unless you choose to switch to a new plan.

• Can I buy extra credits for AI tools without changing my subscription plan?

  No — monthly generations are tied to your plan. If you need more, you can upgrade to Plus or Ultimate at any time to increase your generation limit.

• Will there be usage notifications before I hit my AI limits?

  Yes, there’s a tracker on your Account page and in the interface of each of the Gen AI tools in our suite.

• What happens if generation fails or produces unusable results—does it still count toward my limit?

  If something goes wrong on our end and the system fails to generate any output due to a technical error, that won’t count toward your limit.
  

• How can I keep unlimited Gen AI access?  

  Our new Ultimate plan includes unlimited GenAI Access, or upgrade to a Plus plan for 100 generations a month.
  Whichever plan you choose, you’ll get unlimited downloads of our 26+ million creative assets. Select the plan that suits your gen AI usage.

• What happens if I stay on my current plan?

  If you choose not to upgrade, your subscription continues as normal. After 25th February 2026, you will automatically transition to the new limit of 10 AI generations per user per month while keeping all other features of your current plan.

• Can I downgrade my plan if I don't need the higher tier features?

  You’ll move on to Core on February 25. From there, you’re free to upgrade to Plus or Ultimate anytime. And if you later decide you don’t need the higher tier, you can switch your plan again — no stress. Downgrades take effect on the next renewal date.

• What happens if I cancel and resubscribe later—will I lose my current price?
   

  You'll come back under the new structure: Core, Plus, or Ultimate Plans with our current pricing.  You can find out more on our Plans & Pricing page.

• What if I want to cancel my subscription?

  If these updates don’t fit your workflow, you can cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal.  If you choose to cancel your subscription, you’ll keep your current level of access until the end of your billing period.

• What if I want to request a refund?

  If you’d like to request a refund, use the “Request Refund” button below.
