You can upgrade your Envato subscription in two ways:

Switch your billing cycle — from a monthly plan to an annual plan.
Paying annually is significantly cheaper than paying monthly for your plan — save up to 50% on Core, up to 32% on Plus, and up to 35% on Ultimate compared to the monthly price. Visit the Plans & Pricing page for current rates.
- Upgrade your plan tier — from Core to Plus, or from Core or Plus to Ultimate
Both upgrades are available directly from your My Account page.
How to switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan
- Log in to your Envato account.
- Click your name in the bottom-left corner and select My Account.
- You will see an option to switch to an annual plan. Click the Switch to annual button.
- You will be taken to a confirmation page. Review the details and click Confirm to complete the upgrade.
How billing works when you switch to annual: When you upgrade from a monthly to an annual plan mid-cycle, Envato adjusts the amount you are charged based on the days remaining in your current monthly billing period. This adjustment applies to your current monthly period only — not retroactively to previous months.
How to upgrade to Plus or Ultimate
- Log in to your Envato Elements account.
- Click your name in the bottom-left corner and select My Account.
- You will see options to switch to an annual billing cycle or to upgrade your plan to Plus or Ultimate.
- Select your chosen plan by clicking the green Upgrade to button.
- You will be taken to a confirmation page. Review the details and click Confirm to complete the upgrade.
You will receive a confirmation email with your new plan details once the upgrade is complete.
How to downgrade to a lower plan tier
If you are on a Plus or Ultimate plan and want to switch to a lower tier, submit a request to the Envato Customer Success team.
When does a downgrade take effect? Downgrades are applied at your next renewal date — your current plan remains active until then.
How to upgrade from an Individual to a Teams subscription
You can quickly and easily upgrade your existing Individual subscription to a Teams subscription on the same tier (e.g Plus to Teams Plus) by clicking on the Upgrade to teams button from your My Account page. If you would like to upgrade your subscription tier as well (e.g. Plus to Teams Ultimate), you can either do this as a second step through your account page, or contact our Customer Success Team.
By upgrading your existing Individual Envato Elements subscription to a Teams subscription, you will automatically become the team owner. Once your account has been set up, you can invite team members to your new team.

When does my plan upgrade take effect?
Plan upgrades take effect immediately upon confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email once your upgrade is complete. Downgrades, by contrast, take effect at your next renewal date.

Can I downgrade from Ultimate back to Core?
Yes. You can request a downgrade from Plus or Ultimate to a lower plan tier by contacting the Envato Customer Success team. The downgrade will take effect at your next renewal date.

What happens to my AI credit allowance when I upgrade?
