How to Cancel Your Envato Subscription

You can cancel your Envato Elements subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewal charges — your subscription remains active and you continue to have full access until the end of your current billing period.

No immediate loss of access: You will not lose access to Envato Elements the moment you cancel. Your subscription continues until the date your next payment would have been due.

While logged in to Envato, click your name in the bottom-left corner and select My Account.
In Manage subscription section, click Cancel subscription.
Read the details of your cancellation request carefully.
Optionally, fill out the cancellation survey to help Envato improve.
If you wish to proceed, click Cancel My Subscription.

Your subscription will be cancelled and will not renew. You will receive a confirmation once the cancellation is processed.

What happens between now and your renewal date?

Until the date your subscription would have renewed, everything continues as normal:

Your current subscription remains valid and active.
You can continue downloading items and creating new licences.
You can continue using Envato subscription as usual.

No pro-rata refunds: Cancelling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of your current billing period. See: Can I Get a Refund on My Envato Elements Subscription?

What happens after your renewal date?

After the date your subscription would have renewed, the following applies:

Charges stop: Your payment method will not be charged again unless you choose to resubscribe.
You can see your license history: You will be able to see a list of items you have previously licensed.
Completed end products retain their license: Items you downloaded and incorporated into completed end products during your active subscription remain licensed for those projects. Your commercial rights to those completed end products are not affected by cancellation.
You cannot use items in new projects: You cannot use downloaded items to create new end products after your subscription ends, even if you downloaded the item before cancellation. To use items in new projects, you must resubscribe.
You cannot download items: You will not be able to download any items — including items you previously downloaded and licensed.
You cannot create new licences: You will not be able to create new licences for any items, including previously licensed items.

Can I cancel my subscription if payment failed and my account is in past due?

If you’ve decided not to continue and want to cancel while your account is in "past due" status, you can do so by following the cancellation steps in your account. Please note that if you cancel during this time, your subscription will end immediately. This means it won’t remain active until the end of the billing period, and you’ll lose access to downloading assets or creating new licenses right away.

If you’d prefer to keep your creative projects going without interruption, please check your payment details in your account settings and update them if needed. Once everything is updated, we’ll try to process your renewal again and your account won’t be in past due status.

Promotional pricing notice

Important: If you subscribed at a promotional price, cancelling means you will not be able to resubscribe at the same discounted rate. If you resubscribe, you will be charged the new subscription price (whatever the latest is at the time).

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose access to my downloads immediately when I cancel?

No. Your access to Envato Elements continues until the end of your current billing period. You can continue downloading and using items normally until your renewal date passes.
Can I still use items I downloaded after my subscription ends?

Items you downloaded and incorporated into completed end products during your active subscription retain their commercial licence for those projects. However, you cannot use downloaded items in new projects after your subscription ends, even if you downloaded them before cancelling. To use items in new projects, you will need to resubscribe.
Will Envato charge me again after I cancel?

No. Once you cancel, your payment method will not be charged again unless you actively choose to resubscribe.
