Why did Envato charge me $1 or €1 or £1 (or currency equivalent)?
If you notice a small charge of 1 USD, 1 EUR, 1 GBP or the equivalent in your local currency from Envato, this is a card verification charge rather than an actual subscription payment.
Card verification is a standard practice used by subscription services to ensure your payment method is valid before activating your account. This process checks your card's validity without actually billing you for a subscription. The verification charge is automatically voided after it processes, meaning it will not result in any actual cost to you.
