Envato Elements license certificates are provided on your 'My Downloads' page and can be used, for example, in clearing content ID or copyright claims on Youtube. To download a license certificate:

Navigate to 'My downloads' in your account drop-down menu

Click the "View licenses' for selected item and you will see a new window with 'Download license' link

Your license download will start and you will receive a .txt license certificate file similar to the example below:
What is an Item License Code?
An Item License Code is a license identifier in the form of a unique numerical code. It is not an Item Purchase code which is issued on Envato Market upon purchase and included in the Envato Market item's License Certificate only. Envato Elements and Envato Market work under different terms, you may learn about Envato Market here.
Note: None of the items in the Envato Elements library requires a purchase code. This means you will have complete access to utilise the items' core features as intended.
What about WordPress items on Envato Elements?
There are some items, such as WordPress themes & plugins, which have features that can be unlocked via a purchase code (e.g. automatic updates).
These features are not available for Envato Elements content, they're only for Market purchases. However, you can manually update an item by downloading the latest version of the item and replacing the updated files in the appropriate plugin and/or theme folders.
Note: You may still see purchase code activation requests for items downloaded on Envato Elements. For any such requests, we ask that you please ignore the activation message and proceed to use the plugin/theme as normal. If you find access to the item's core features is still blocked by a code, please contact our support team for assistance. Please remember, this does not include automatic updates or item support.
Do I need a purchase code?
Envato Elements does not issue purchase codes when you download or register items for projects, instead, you receive an ongoing license for a single, specified use. The Envato Elements license is only valid if you complete your End Products while your subscription is active. Then the license continues for the life of the End Products (even if your subscription ends).
