Envato Elements subscription offers True 3D models for the first time ever! Whether you are a designer, animator, or developer, having access to these 3D assets can greatly enhance your projects. With the flexibility of the Envato Elements subscription service, you can experiment with various 3D items to find the perfect fit for your creative vision.
What software is required for using 3D items?
The software required for using or creating 3D items will be dependent on what type of project you’re working on. Our 3D asset formats are widely supported across all major 3D applications. However, there will be some that are created to work specifically with certain software such as Spline (SPLINE format) and Blender (BLEND format).
Which 3D item type is best suited to my project?
That depends on your project! 3D file formats are each created for specific reasons, so choosing the best format depends entirely on what you want to create. The 3D item types available to Envato subscribers along with possible applications are as follows:

- fbx: FBX
- gltf: GLTF
- obj: OBJ
- glb: GLB
- 3D Software Specific Formats

All items available through our subscription have the same simple license terms.
Our license is designed to make it easy for you to do the right thing and gives you the rights to use the item in a broad variety of projects, including those of a commercial nature.

Can I get support for specific 3D items?
An Envato Elements subscription does not provide direct item support - all the assets listed are created by our community of global artists. Due to this and the nature of our unlimited subscription, we cannot provide direct technical support or advice on the use of items. We however encourage you to check the zip file you downloaded for any support documentation or resources which the author may have included.
You can also always reach out to our Envato community who come together to share ideas and help each other succeed.
Do any limits apply to 3D downloads?
Envato Elements offers an unlimited download subscription, allowing you to download as many items as you want, as long as you follow our user terms, Fair Use Policy, and the Envato Elements license. Please refer to this article for more information.
I am an author and would like to create 3D models to sell on Envato. How do I get started?
Thanks for your interest in contributing to our 3D offering on Envato Elements subscription. However, we aren’t currently onboarding new 3D Authors for Envato (this may change in the future so please check back!).
