I didn't receive the password reset email — what should I do?
Password reset emails are usually delivered instantly, but may take up to an hour in some cases. If you have not received the email, try the following:
- Check your junk or spam folder. Password reset emails sometimes end up in spam.
- Add Envato to your safe senders list. Add donotreply@envato.com to your contacts or safe senders list to ensure Envato emails are not filtered.
- Confirm your username and email address are correct. Re-enter them carefully on the password reset page — check for typos and confirm you are using the email address you originally signed up with. You may have used a different email address if you have more than one account.
- Wait up to an hour. If the email has not arrived after an hour, try the reset process again.
If you have followed all of the above steps and still have not received the reset email, contact the Envato support team for assistance.
I signed in with Google or Facebook — how do I create or reset my Envato password?
If you signed in to Envato using a Google or Facebook (social) account, you do not have a separate Envato password. Your sign-in is managed through your social account provider.
To reset your social account password:
- Google: manage your password via Google Account settings
- Facebook: manage your password via Facebook account settings
To create an Envato password and sign in with a username and password instead:
If you want to disconnect your social account and sign in with an Envato username and password, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Envato account using your social account.
- Go to Account settings and click Disconnect Google Account (or the relevant social account).
- Confirm and click Submit.
- Follow the password reset instructions sent to your email address.
Once complete, you can log in to your Envato account using your username or email address and your new password.

-
Does resetting my password affect my two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Resetting your password does not disable two-factor authentication. If you have 2FA enabled on your account, you will still be required to enter your authentication code when you log in after the password reset. For help with 2FA, see: Two-Factor Authentication on Envato
-
Do I have a password if I sign in with my Google or Facebook account?
No. If you use a social account (Google, Facebook, or another provider) to sign in to Envato, you do not have a separate Envato username and password. Your authentication is managed through your social account provider. To create an Envato password, you must disconnect your social account first — see the steps above.
