You can update several account details directly from your My Account page. Changes made here apply across all Envato sites.

Which account details can I update?
From the Account settings section of My Account, you can update the following parameters:

| Email address | Must not be an email address already linked to another Envato account. |
| Password | Requires your current password to confirm. |
| Username | Certain restrictions apply to username changes. |
| Name | If your account has tax information associated with it, update your name via your tax details instead. |
| Licensee name | For individual plans only. Updates apply to future licences only — existing licences are not changed. |
Company name on licences: If you want a company name to appear on your licences (rather than a personal name), you must have a Teams or Enterprise account and select My Company as the licensee option. To update the company name, go to your Billing information page. Changes apply to future licences only — existing licences are not updated retroactively.
How to update your account details
Important: Changes made in Account settings apply to all Envato sites. Make sure your changes are correct before saving.
- Sign in to your Envato account.
- Click your name in the bottom-left corner and select My Account.
- Go to the Account settings section and click the detail you want to update.

Make the required changes.
If you see "Email is already in use": The email address you have entered is already associated with another Envato account. Use a different email address. If you need further help, contact the Envato support team.
- Enter your current password to confirm the change and click Save changes.
Signing in with a social account (Google or Facebook)
If you sign in to Envato using a social account (Google or Facebook), only your username can be updated directly within Envato. All other account details — including your name, email address, and password — are managed through your social account provider's settings.

Account transfer policy
Warning: Accounts cannot be transferred to another person. Your Envato subscription and account are personal and non-transferable. You cannot sell your Envato account or subscription, or transfer them to another person. If someone else needs access to Envato, they must create and subscribe using their own account and information. For full details, see the Envato Elements User Terms.

Can I change my Envato username?
Yes, with some restrictions. You can update your username from Account settings in My Account. Certain restrictions apply — for example, you cannot use a username already taken by another account.

How do I show my company name on my Envato licence certificates?
Company name on licence certificates is only available for Teams and Enterprise accounts. If you have a Teams or Enterprise account, go to Account settings and select My Company as the licensee option. Then update the company name in your Billing information page. Changes apply to future licences only — existing licences will not be updated.

Will my account detail changes affect existing Envato licences?
Changes to your licensee name or company name apply to future licences only — they do not update or re-issue existing licence certificates. If you need a corrected licence certificate, contact Envato support.
