Am I eligible for the Envato charities plan?
To be eligible for the Envato charities plan, your organisation must meet all three of the following requirements:
Requirement 1: Recognised legal status
Your organisation must be a charitable organisation with recognised legal status in your country.
Examples of recognised charitable status by jurisdiction:
- Australia: Registered with the Australian Charities and Non-profits Commission (ACNC), or formally recognised by the Australian Tax Office as an income tax-exempt charity.
- United States: Recognised under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
- All other countries: Registered or qualified as a charity — and holding a relevant tax exemption, if applicable — under the relevant local laws.
Please provide applicable registration or identification numbers when submitting your application for verification.
Requirement 2: Not on the list of ineligible organisation types
Even if your organisation has recognised legal charitable status, the following types of organisations are not eligible for the Envato charities plan:
- Individuals.
- Governmental organisations or agencies.
- Schools, colleges, and universities.
- Professional, commerce, and trade associations whose mission or activities extend beyond members of that association.
- Political, lobbyist, or labour organisations.
- Private foundations.
- Non-profit organisations that have not obtained recognised charitable or tax status in their respective country.
- Other organisations as determined by Envato at its discretion.
Requirement 3: Non-discrimination policy
Organisations are not eligible for the Envato charities plan if they have a purpose, mission, or policy of discrimination in any aspect of their operations — including provision of goods or services, hiring and employee relations, training, or programs — based on any of the following:
- Age
- Disability
- Race, colour, or sex
- Intersex status
- Gender identity or expression
- Sexual orientation
- Parental status
- Religion
- Political belief or activity
- Trade union activity
Envato respects and values diversity and inclusion, and is committed to building a community that is free from discrimination.

Charities plan terms and conditions
By submitting an application, you agree to be bound by the Envato Elements User Terms and the Envato Privacy Policy, if verification is completed and you are signed up with an Envato subscription.
In addition to the general User Terms, the following specific terms apply to the charities plan:
- The charities plan is available only to charitable organisations that meet the eligibility requirements.
- Envato will conduct verification at the time of application and may conduct further verification during the term of the subscription.
- Envato may determine, acting reasonably, that an organisation is not eligible — even if it holds recognised charitable status — and reserves the right to update eligibility criteria and verification processes over time.
- If an organisation is found to be ineligible, Envato reserves the right to move the subscription to a standard monthly Envato plan.
- Envato reserves the right to discontinue the charities discount at any time and for any reason.
