Envato is available in most countries worldwide. However, as a global company, Envato complies with international economic sanctions regulations, which means access to all Envato platforms is restricted for users located in certain countries and regions.
Which countries and regions are restricted from using Envato?
Access to Envato is currently restricted in the following countries and regions:
- Iran
- Cuba
- Syria
- North Korea
- Crimea Region
- Donetsk People’s Republic
- Luhansk People’s Republic
This list is not exhaustive. Envato reserves the right to restrict access from additional countries or regions at any time in order to remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Why does Envato restrict access in some countries?
Envato restricts access in certain regions to comply with economic sanctions regulations that prohibit or restrict trade with specific countries, entities, and individuals. It is Envato's policy to block access to its platforms for any author or customer located in — or associated with — a restricted country, as well as to prohibit transactions that Envato determines involve restricted parties.
What happens to funds that are held by Envato?
This section applies to Envato authors (contributors who sell assets on the platform).
If Envato determines that an author account is associated with a restricted country, Envato will suspend access to that account and prohibit the withdrawal of any funds held within it. Suspended funds will be held by Envato until the account holder is permitted to receive them under applicable regulations.
